Thermostable phytase is a highly efficient 6-phytase. Feed ingredients contain large amounts of phosphates. However, phosphorus in plant phosphates is generally less digestible than inorganic phosphorus added to the diet. TTX thermostable phytase can greatly break down phosphate, release plant phosphorus, reduce feed cost and environmental impact.

Activity definition: 1 phytase activity unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme that releases 1 μmol of inorganic phosphorus per minute from a 5.0 mmol/L sodium phytate solution at pH 5.5 and 37 °C.
