Product Description
Iron sulfide powder
Ferrosulfur is an iron alloy composed of iron and sulfur, with a sulfur content between 40% and 50%, which determines the quality of the product. The main products are high-quality pyrite, pyrite, diiron disulfide nuggets and their powder, with a sulfur content of more than 48%.
This series of chemicals are widely used as desulfurizers in the production of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless free cutting steel. It improves the mechanical properties of steel castings used to make steel components. Today, its main use is in the production of sulfuric acid.

Uses of iron sulfide powder:
Manufacture of cast iron:
When smelted in the foundry, the residual sulfur content is reduced, mainly due to the use of steel scrap and low sulfur
content. It has been determined that if the sulfur content is below 0.04%, the melt does not react readily to the inoculant.
Therefore, it is necessary to use sulfur iron to increase the sulfur content and keep it in the range of 0.05%-0.12%.
Manufacture of Alloy Steel:
Use as a suitable and economical vulcanizing agent
Prevent hydrogen embrittlement and maintain a minimum sulfur content of not less than 0.015%.
Cutting steel fabrication:
used as a recuring agent
In the manufacture of this steel because it increases machinability.
Electric stove:
It has a positive effect,
Keep the sulfur level around 0.15% as it promotes the formation of ductile iron.
