Fire-resistant ceramic fiber belt
Ceramic fiber tape is a woven tape made from our high quality ceramic fiber yarn. It can be used in high temperature applications up to 1000°C. The tape is reinforced with fiberglass wire and optional stainless steel wire. It contains a certain amount of binder material and usually burns at a lower temperature without affecting the insulation performance.
Suitable for protective and insulating covers or shields, cable or pipe wraps, expansion joints, high temperature seals or gaskets. The product has been widely used in welding, foundries, aluminum and steel plants, boiler insulation and sealing, exhaust systems, shipyards, refineries, power plants and chemical plants.
