Product Description
Nutrizyme® LTAA (Low Temperature Alpha-Amylase) [EC 3.2.1.1] is purified and formulated by submerged fermentation of Bacillus subtilis.
This product belongs to the hydrolase family, which randomly and effectively attacks the α-1.4 glycosidic bond in starch to generate dextrin, oligosaccharides and a small amount of glucose. α-amylase acts faster than β-amylase and is one of the main digestive enzymes with an optimum pH of 6.0.
