ETiBOR-68 Anhydrous borax for gold mining industry, white granular Na2B4O7
The appearance of Turkish ETiBOR-68 anhydrous borax is white granular or colorless glassy crystal. The melting point of α orthorhombic crystal is 742.5°C and the density is 2.28; the melting point of β orthorhombic crystal is 742.5°C and the density is 2.28. Strong hygroscopicity, soluble in water and glycerin. Slowly dissolve in methanol to form a solution with a concentration of 13-16%. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline and insoluble in alcohol. Anhydrous borax is a product obtained by heating borax to 350-450°C. When placed in the air, it can absorb moisture and transform into borax decahydrate or borax pentahydrate.
