Activated carbon is widely used to purify edible oils from various raw materials including palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, peanut oil, fish oil and rapeseed oil.
One reason for using activated charcoal is primarily to remove toxins that occur naturally, or that are entrained as part of the extraction or refining process. RAHs (polyaromatic hydrocarbons) include benzopyrene and benzo-alpha anthracene which are removed by carbon.

High adsorption capacity SYKOL activated bleaching earth is widely used:
1. Unwanted substances such as FFA, gums, color bodies, metal traces, etc. can be completely removed from the oil.
2. Excellent for removal of compounds such as chlorophyll, carotenoids, phospholipids and peroxides by chemisorption and acid catalysis.

SYKOL bleaching earth for edible oil refining: 100 A, 195 A, 277, 2060, 377 FF

2). SYKOL has low acidity, which can protect the oxidation stability of refined oil and prolong its service life.

1). SYKOL clay has the ability to prolong the service life of industrial oils.
