Our bentonite clay has a very soft, fine-grained texture.
It is a highly absorbent clay that is best for oily skin. Can be applied topically as a clay poultice, mud pack, or used in skin care formulations.

use: 

Bentonite powder is a suspending and colloidal agent in soap manufacturing and is added to soaps in trace amounts to aid oily skin or as an additive to shaving soaps.

It is also used in cosmetics and applied directly to the body as a mask. In facial masks, it is generally not used as the primary clay because of its ability to absorb large amounts of water (thus making the mask product take a long time to dry). However, it is used in smaller amounts to make the mask product more elastic.

Also used to suspend pigments, thicken emulsions and absorb oil.
