Product Description
10-20mm vitrified perlite expanded perlite agricultural planting medium granular perlite
Perlite is an acidic lava from a volcanic eruption. It is a glassy rock formed by rapid cooling. Named for its pearly fissure structure. Perlite mines include perlite, obsidian, and turpentine. The difference between the three is that perlite has arc-shaped cracks formed by condensation, called perlite structure, with a water content of 2-6%; turpentine has a water content of 6-10%, and has a unique luster; obsidian has glass luster and shell-shaped fractures , the water content is generally less than 2%. Because its volume rapidly expands 4 to 30 times under high temperature conditions of 1000-1300 ° C, it is collectively called expanded perlite. Generally, the expansion rate is >7-10 times (obsidian >3 times, available), and the silicon dioxide is about 70%.
All are open pit mined. No beneficiation is required, only crushing and screening is required. It can be used as a filter, catalyst, molecular sieve, and carrier for rubber, fertilizers, and pesticides.
Advantages of Perlite
On the basis of absorbing foreign advanced technologies such as Japan and South Korea, according to the characteristics of Chinese soil and cultivation habits, we have developed ultra-light inorganic, convenient construction, and non-toxic ultra-light cultivation materials.
Advantages of Perlite
Has superior water and fertilizer retention properties; sustained release; plants take root, no pests, because we use high porosity volcanic lava. Widely used in seedling soil medium, cultivation materials, soil improvement materials, urban greening, garden roofs, etc.
