Bentonite
Clay is commonly known as bentonite, and clay minerals are mainly composed of montmorillonite minerals. It has a series of special physical and chemical functions such as good water swelling, adhesion, adsorption, catalytic activity, thixotropy, suspension, plasticity, lubricity and cation exchange.
Bentonite Application
1. For foundry industry:
Bentonite can be used as binder and absorbent for casting, ceramics and environmental treatment.
2. Bentonite for drilling mud:
Pulp is used as binder, suspending agent, SAP, suitable for oil drilling, foundation engineering and construction cement.
3. For chemical industry:
Bentonite can be used as filler, thickener, suspending agent, used in papermaking, rubber, paint, ink, daily chemical, coating, textile.
4. Bentonite can be used as a poultry feed additive:
It is used as a feed additive for chickens and pigs to aid digestion.
1) Wastewater treatment:
Especially for the treatment of sewage with high concentration and suspended particles, such as sewage from steel plants and electroplating plants, it has the advantages of low cost and no pollution, and can also be used for papermaking. For municipal sewage sludge, municipal solid waste and industrial wastewater;
2). Drilling mud chemicals:
Oilfield tertiary oil recovery (EOR) uses ultra-high polymers.
3).Paper industry:

What is bentonite?
Bentonite, one of the most popular clays, comes from volcanic ash deposits that occur naturally here in China. Bentonite clay has traditionally been used to help with mineral deficiencies and to help bind toxins, making them more soluble. Bentonite, also known as montmorillonite, is one of the most effective and powerful healing clays.
Bentonite has great swelling property under water and has good colloidal properties.
Suspended in drilling mud when used. It increases the lubricity of drilling and cleans the cuttings produced during drilling, and is widely used in drilling construction in complex geological formations to prevent accidents in holes. The product is famous for its good performance, strong water swelling, large cation exchange capacity and high pulping rate.
