Product Description
Graphite Chill
Graphite cold iron blocks, the main principle of use is that graphite cold iron materials have the advantages of light specific gravity, high refractoriness, and large thermal conductivity. Therefore, using graphite chilled iron instead of metal material chilled iron as a chiller can better solve the problems of porosity and shrinkage of cast steel, cast copper, cast aluminum and other castings. And it can effectively solve casting defects such as white holes and pores caused by the use of metal chilled iron. Place the formed graphite chilled iron at the hot spot where the casting needs to be chilled, so that more than 95% of the metallographic structure of the casting is flaky pearlite, the number of eutectic groups can reach 450-550cm, and the hardness of the casting can be increased by 20-50HB , can improve the surface finish and wear resistance of castings. When using graphite chill iron, graphite paint or talc paint can be applied to the chill iron, and the use times are 5-10 times longer than metal chill iron.
