Product Description
ColorMixed Prestained Protein Markers (5-245kD) is a three-color protein standard containing 13 prestained proteins covering a broad range of molecular weights from 5 to 245 kDa. When separated on SDS-PAGE (Tris-glycine buffer), the protein is colored with blue color except for two reference bands (one green and one red at 25 kDa and 75 kDa, respectively) group covalent coupling. Multicolor protein markers (11-180kD) designed to monitor separated proteins during SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, verify protein transfer efficiency on membranes (PVDF, Nylon or Nitrocellulose), and approximate protein size. The ladder is supplied as gel loading buffer and can be used without heating and reducing.

5 μl of ColorMixed prestained protein markers (5-245kD) resolved 12 bands in 4-20% SDS-PAGE (Tris-glycine buffer) and after Western blot on PVDF membrane.
loading advice
• 3μl or 5μl per load for clear visualization when running on 15-well or 10-well mini-gels respectively
• Generally transfer 2~3μl per well for Western.
• For thicker (>1.5 mm) or larger gels, apply more.
