Product name: Potassium aluminum fluoride Melting point: 540-560℃ Molecular formula: kalf4, k3alf6
This product is white or gray crystalline powder with an initial melting temperature of 560°C. Used as magnesium removal agent, brazing flux for aluminum, aluminum alloys and stainless steel, degassing agent, flux and insecticide in the manufacturing process of aluminum alloys. It is also used in ceramics, glass industry and aluminum brazing.
Product advantages and features
Sizes can be: 1-3mm, 20, 40, 100, 200 and 325 mesh. Composed of KF-AlF3, the molecular weight is close to 1.2, and the melting point is 557-580. Solubility in 1000g water: 0 hours: 0.8g; 25 hours: 1.42 grams, 100 hours: 4.58 grams.
