Fused silica bowls tend to absorb moisture during shipping. It should be dried at low temperature before use. In order to prolong its service life, please preheat a large area before heating at high temperature, and gradually increase the temperature. Then sprinkle some borax on the bottom of the bowl and bring to a boil. After the borax is melted, a thin film of crystals will form on the bottom of the bowl to prevent the gold and silver from sticking to the bottom of the bowl after melting.
