Fiberglass mesh tape is made of C-glass or E-glass woven cloth, coated with acrylic copolymer and glue. how to use:
Quick and easy to use, no pre-plastering required, and no air bubbles. For covering or repairing joints, cracks and holes in walls, roofs etc.
1. The wall surface must be clean and dry.
2. Center and tape the length of the joint and press firmly.
3. Apply a generous first coat of compound over the tape and through the mesh, making sure to completely fill the seam gap. When the joint is completely filled, use a drywall knife to wipe away excess compound, leaving enough to fill the joint gap. Let it dry completely, then sand lightly.
4. Apply topcoat thin enough to smooth the wall.
5. Butt cuts do not have tapered edges. Therefore, special care must be taken to ensure the proper compound is needed to increase the amount of edge feathering required.
