Product Usage
Used as organic synthesis intermediates, adhesives, emulsifiers, and coatings. Oleic acid and its esters are widely used in industry. During use, acrylates are often synthesized into polymers or copolymers. Butyl acrylate (and methyl ester, ethyl ester, 2-ethyl ester) is a soft monomer, which can be a variety of hard monomers such as methyl methacrylate, styrene, acrylonitrile, vinyl acetate, etc., as well as perceptual monomers. More than 200-700 acrylic polymer products are made from (methyl)hydroxyethyl ester, hydroxypropyl acrylate and glycidyl ester, (meth)acrylamide and their derivatives through copolymerization, cross-linking, grafting, etc. Mainly emulsion-based, solvent-based and water-soluble) coatings, adhesives, acrylic fiber modification, plastic modification, fiber and fabric processing, paper treatment agents, leather processing, acrylic rubber, etc.
